PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS WEBSITE.  We may, and we reserve the right to, change and modify the Terms for the use of the site without notice, and you agree by continuing to use the site to be bound by any such modification, updates or alterations.  All users of this site agree that access to and use of this site are subject to the following terms and conditions and other applicable law. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, please do not use this site.

BY PURCHASING PRODUCTS FROM THIS WEB SITE, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY AND ACCEPT THESE PURCHASE TERMS.


Free Shipping Policy

• FREE Shipping over $100.00 (excluding sale items)
• Paintings - FREE shipping on all Michael Godard Paintings
• PANDORA - FREE shipping on orders over $40.00 (note must be PANDORA only)
• If sale items are purchased with regular priced items - shipping will apply to the sale items only,
   unless total order is below $100.00 then shipping applies to entire order.
• Free shipping does not include AK or HI
• Your credit card will not be charged until the order is ready to ship
• Free shipping does not apply to promotional offers and gift with purchases.

Free shipping does not apply at any time for orders being sent to any other country.

No promotions can be used with sale items, and shipping applies on all promotional items and sale items. We reserve the right to exclude certain product from sales and discounts, this maybe changed at anytime.

Cancellation
In the unlikely event that you wish to cancel your order it must be within 24 hours of originally placing your order. Any orders placed after the 24 hour period has elapsed will have already been sent for fulfillment and will not be able to be altered.   There will be a cancellation fee of 10 % of the total order  applied to any order cancelled after  24 hours .  This applies to IN STOCK and PRE-PAID ORDERS only, if the items you have ordered are not in stock at the time you will be notified and no cancellation fees apply.

Return Policy

 If the product is incorrect or defective we must be notified within 15 days after you receive merchandise, you will receive a full refund including shipping, in all other instances the policies below apply.

Any items should be sent back to us in original packaging and in unused condition which includes any hang tags and/or unopened plastic bags. As long as the item is returned in its original condition and packaging within this time period then a credit for the cost of the item will be placed on your account for future use in our online store. The credit never expires and it can be used to help cover any cost of future orders (Shipping, Item Cost, etc.) Any unused portion will be then automatically left on your account until you choose to use it. A restocking fee may apply to all returned items unless defective.  Re-stocking fee will be deducted from your in store credit balance.  The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs for returning any and all items. Shipping costs for your original purchase will not be credited.

● Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable unless the return is a result of our error.

● If you had FREE shipping on your order you will also pay for those shipping charges, unless item is defective or broken.
and you must call for return authorization, we reserve the right to refuse returns without an return authorization. (no returns accepted without authorization).

If Box or item is damaged you must keep  the original box the item was shipped in for claim purposes. Call us immediately at 815 338-5651to report damages. Failure to report damages and keep the box may cause claim to be denied.
 

Not responsible for lost items. No return on ornament orders after December 24th if purchased before December 24th unless they are defective. If defective they must be returned by January 15th.  You must call us at 815 338 5651 for return authorization information.

Pre-Orders

The exact delivery date on Pre-Order items is unknown, unless a release date is specified on the product pages. Once an order is placed, the item will ship when the manufacturer releases it to The Thoughtfulness Shop.  All pre-orders are subject to a cancellation fee 10%.
 
Webkinz Policy

Your Webkinz Pet comes with a sealed tag containing your Secret Code. Lost or stolen tags will NOT BE REPLACED by Ganz or The Thoughtfulness Shop.  Please be sure to keep your tag and code in a safe location and DO NOT LOSE THEM!!

A Webkinz pet can only be returned for an exchange if  it is defective, you must contact us at 815 338 5651 to report the problem and get a return authorization number, failure to do so may result in your return being denied .NO RETURNS WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION.  Webkinz pets cannot be returned for any reason unless defective and approved for return.

I received a damaged or defective item.

Please contact our Customer Service Department at
orders@thoughtfulnessshop.com or call us at 815-338-5651 with your order number, name, address and details on the item you received damaged or defective. We will instruct you on how to proceed with correcting your order. If you would like a replacement sent to you and the requested item is in stock, we will ship it to you immediately. Your credit card will be charged for the second shipment, but will be credited for the return once we receive it in our fulfillment center. We will assist you in returning the original shipment for a full refund, including shipping charges.

I am missing an item.

or call us at 815-338-5651 with your order number, name, address and details on the item you are missing from your order. We will instruct you on how to proceed with correcting your order. If you would like the item sent to you and the requested item is in stock, we will ship it to you immediately. Please check the invoice/packing slip that was included with your shipment if you have not been charged for the item, your credit card will be charged for the second shipment.

I received the wrong item.

or call us at 815-338-5651 with your order number, name, address and the details on whether you have received the wrong item instead of or in addition to item/s that you did order. If your credit card has been charged for the merchandise, we will process a credit for the return once we receive it in our fulfillment center. We will assist you in returning the original shipment for a full refund, including shipping charges.


Can I ship a package to another address?

Yes, you can. Your ship-to address can be different from your billing address. (Your billing address must match your credit card given). However, only one ship-to address can be indicated per order. For example, to send one package to your house and another package to someone else as a gift, you will have to place two orders, and both of these orders would have the same bill-to address.

Typographical Errors

In the event that  The Thoughtfulness Shop product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, The Thoughtfulness Shop reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. The Thoughtfulness Shop reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, Thoughtfulness Shop shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.

Email Communication Errors

We are not responsible for email confirmations not received because of individual Spam filters or other errors related to receiving emails, all our terms will apply whether you receive confirmation or not. 

Although the company has taken reasonable precautions to ensure no viruses are present in this email, the company cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage arising from the use of this email or attachments.

Sales Disclaimer
If you apply discount to items that are already on sale we will adjust your total to reflect  sale price with amount deducted from original price.  While supplies last.  Shipping applies on all sale items.
All sales final no returns or exchanges.  Does not apply to previous purchases
In stock items only, some restrictions apply, Can not apply discount to already discounted items. Excludes all paintings, Lolita, PANDORA
